Bruce Wehman

Is presently a Sr. Photographer employed by the Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. in Rockford IL. In recent years has worked exclusively in digital media, providing original photography for all facets of a large aerospace company.

Previously: a commercial photographer in Denver, Colorado;  a Navy Photog. and, in a former life, a machinist.

Has an A.A.S. degree from Broome Tech.; is graduate of the navy photo school in Pensacola; Brooks Institute of Photography, class of 1969, with a major in Illustration, and has earned the title: 'Master of Photography' from the Professional Photographers of America.  Has also placed 8 prints in the Traveling Loan Collection of the PPA.

Has had a one man show at the Photosphere Gallery in LA and has placed  work in private and corporate collections.

Personal interests used to include mountaineering. Completing the second ascent of the west face of Alaska's Mt. Huntington (which was also the first alpine ascent of the same), an ascent of the Emperor Ridge of Mt. Robson, The Long's Peak 'Diamond' and most of the Colorado 14,000' mountains.(most of them in winter). As well as serving as an instructor and guide for the Colorado Mountain Club.

With advancing age, interests have been toned down a bit to include: fine art photography, building cameras and hiking with packs full of photo gear (packs that used to carry climbing equip).

Bruce presently lives with his wife, Lynne, and two cats in Rockford, IL.
